Diese seltsame Zeit hat mich zum Nachdenken gebracht und alles ins rechte Licht gerückt. Und ich sagte mir, genug des Überflüssigen, wenn dies mein letztes Album ist, will ich nichts Unnötiges darin haben; die Idee ist: „Straight to the Point“! Und daher stammt auch der Name des Albums.‘ Wie immer hat Fred Chapellier seine altgedienten Mitstreiter um sich geschart, um dieses wunderbare Album zu komponieren und/oder zu schreiben. Und so kann man auf den 12 Tracks Neal Black auf dem revolutionären ‘Mother Earth‘ (zufällig die erste Single des Albums), Billy Price insbesondere auf dem absolut fesselnden ‘I‘d rather be Alone‘ oder dem kraftvollen ‘Remnants‘, oder Alain ‘Leadfoot‘ Rivet für ein ‘Tend to It‘ im gewohnten und zeitlosen bluesigen Groove hören. Und nicht zu vergessen Jimmy Britton, dem die Aufgabe zufiel, das Ganze zusammenzustellen, mit der bereits erwähnten Einleitung und dem abschließenden ‘Basket of Blues‘.
