Fleetwood Macs legendäres Album Tusk , ursprünglich im Oktober 1979 veröffentlicht, verkaufte sich 4 Millionen Mal und wurde in Deutschland und Frankreich mit Gold, in Großbritannien, den Niederlanden und Neuseeland mit Platin und in den USA mit 2-fach Platin ausgezeichnet. Die Band tourte mit diesem Album international über einen Zeitraum von 9 Monaten und besuchte dabei die USA, Australien, Neuseeland, Japan, Frankreich, Belgien, Deutschland, die Niederlande und Großbritannien. Zu den wichtigsten Tracks gehören "Sara", "Tusk" und "Think About Me". Wer sich an die Genialität dieses Albums erinnern möchte, sollte sich das epische Video zu "Tusk" ansehen, das mit einer kompletten Marschkapelle (der Trojan Marching Band der University of Southern California) am 4. Juni 1979 im Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles gefilmt wurde.
