Zwei CD-Sets mit 21 unveröffentlichten Tracks - Letzte Woche jährte sich die Originalveröffentlichung von The Man Who Sold The World, David Bowies Meilenstein der 1970er Jahre, in Großbritannien zum 50. Mal. Mit diesem Album begann die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Gitarristen Mick Ronson, die mit Bowie-Klassikern wie Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust und Aladdin Sane fortgesetzt werden sollte. Die Wiederveröffentlichung von The Man Who Sold The World im Jahr 2020 stellt den beabsichtigten Titel Metrobolist wieder her und enthält einen neuen Mix des ursprünglichen Produzenten Tony Visconti. In Anlehnung an den Eröffnungstrack des Albums, der nach einem Gemälde von Bowies Freund George Underwood benannt wurde, fungiert das neue Zwei-CD-Set The Width Of A Circle als Ergänzung zu diesem Album. Die 21 Tracks beinhalten Singles außerhalb des Albums, eine BBC In Concert Session, Musik für ein TV-Stück und weitere Visconti-Remixe, die Davids Aufnahmen von 1970 abschließen und die ersten klanglichen Schritte in Richtung Hunky Dory aufzeigen.
