Live At Rainbow Theatre 3LP

Die historische und berüchtigte letzte Show der Flo & Eddie-Besetzung mit The Mothers in ihrer Gesamtheit. Das Konzert war das erste, das nach der legendären Brandkatastrophe in Montreux in der Schweiz stattfand, was dazu führte, dass die Gruppe mit neu erworbenem Equipment spielte. Die Show war ein Erfolg, bis Frank Zappa schockierenderweise von einem Konzertbesucher von der Bühne gestoßen wurde. Der Angriff führte zu schweren Verletzungen bei FZ und verursachte die Absage der Tournee und schließlich der Band.

Alle Tracks wurden von den Original-Multitracks von Eddie Kramer neu abgemischt.

The concert was the first scheduled after the legendary fire disaster in Montreux, Switzerland, resulting in the group playing on newly acquired gear. The show was a success until Frank Zappa was pushed off stage by a concert attendee. The attack resulted in grave injuries for FZ and caused the cancellation of the tour and ultimately the band.

Mastered by Bernie Grundman, the package includes liner notes by Eddie Kramer.
