Black Market Enlightenment is the 7th album by British band Antimatter. Originally released in 2018, we are premiering a vinyl release of this album in either black or orange marbled vinyl.

The seventh Antimatter album takes giant leaps from its predecessor ‘The Judas Table‘. peaking with PROG magazine, singer-songwriter Mick Moss explains ‘‘Seven has always been a significant number to me, and I felt that this album had to be something really special. I tried to write as much as possible on other instruments in order to draw a different type of music out of me. I also denied myself the luxury of reaching into my archive of unreleased songs, thus forcing myself to create an entirely new work on a blank canvass. It really gave me a lot of freedom to go anywhere. I pushed the creativity on everything... lyrics, arrangements, instrumentation, drums, my vocal performance... The results were genuinely surprising. People who have heard the album are already describing it as a dark prog Goliath that is musically more mature and complex than anything I‘ve done before‘‘. And indeed it is. Bypassing the traditional lead instruments in favour of flute, qamancha and saxophone lends a kaleidoscopic flavour befitting of the albums psychedelic concept. Moss‘ distinctive, soulful vocals are complimented by Carla Lewis and a cameo by Aleah Starbridge (Trees Of Eternity).
