The music has turned out very well with some great performances and talent in the form of Kyle Fenton’s drumming which he recorded for me on the very hottest day of the summer of 2022 (minus any air-conditioning - the poor lad) plus the brilliant Nick D‘Virgilio’s drums on three songs, and my good like-minded friend Geoff Lea’s superb guitar work.” Steve Thorne is a singer/songwriter and performing/recording artist from the south of England. Over the years he has played in venues across the country as a solo performer and has stepped ‘off the island‘ to play in Europe, notably France, Belgium, Germany, Holland and Spain and few others where he was always well received and gained much enthusiasm and attention and also a steadily growing audience for his five album releases. Steve completed his debut album ‘Emotional Creatures: Part One’ in 2005 to critical acclaim. This work is a combination of well-crafted songs with strong melodies and thought provoking lyrics. Steve is certainly not afraid to tackle any subject head-on. Steve has been extremely lucky to attract musicians of the highest musical skills such as Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel), Nick D‘Virgilio (Spock‘s Beard, Big Big Train & Genesis) Geoff Downes (Yes, Asia, Buggles) and Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree).
