Man möchte es kaum glauben, dass Acid Moon And The Pregnant Sun aus Tel Aviv und nicht etwa den amerikanischen Südstaaten kommen. Oder dass sie eine Band sind, die mit "Speakin‘ Of The Devil" im Oktober 2021 erst ihr Debütalbum veröffentlichen. Im Sound von Ido Bar Or (Gitarre), Omer Haviv (Gitarre), Aviran Haviv (Bass), Eden Lieberman (Keyboards) und Stav Ben Shachar (Schlagzeug), die im Studio und auf der Bühne gerne noch von allerhand zusätzlichen Musikern unterstützt werden, findet sich viel aus den 60ern und 70ern vornehmlich amerikanischer Prägung. Etwa Arthur Lees Love, ein wenig Dylan, die Allman Brothers und im Stück "Save Me" ganz viel Rolling Stones in ihrer Southern-Phase. Die Ideale der Band sind die gleichen wie die Ideale der Bands damals: Liebe, Frieden und Freiheit - sowie Sex, Drogen und Rock‘n‘Roll.
