The Cloud Of Unknowing

In June 2022 Nick Fletcher, the progressive rock guitarist known for his work with the John Hackett Band, will release the follow up to his first solo album, 2021‘s ‘Cycles of Behaviour‘- entitled ‘The Cloud of Unknowing‘
The concept of the recording is about finding meaning in a seemingly meaningless world! using ideas from Greek mythology and mysticism the music takes the listener on a voyage of our inner selves to take us from darkness to light. At the heart of the album is an epic 23-minute suite entitled ‘Scenes from the Subconcious Mind‘. The suite is a journey through dreams and nightmares to a place of peace in the form of the acoustic composition ‘Arcadia‘ T

The band consisits of Nick Fletcher - guitars, Caroline Bonnett - keyboards and backing vocals, Dave Bainbridge - keyboards (Lifesigns/Strawbs/Celestial Fire/Iona/ Jack Bruce/Geoff Downes) Tim Harries - bass (ex Bill Bruford‘s Earthworks/Steeleye Span) Russ Wilson - drums (Genesis Visible Touch/Number One Elton Tribute & Rocket Band) plus Stuart Barbour - vocals on two tracks.
