Zappa ‘80: Mudd Club/München vereint zwei historische Auftritte der Band aus dem Frühjahr/Sommer 1980. Der erste stammt von einem Auftritt in FZs Lieblings-Nachtclub in NYC - dem berühmten Mudd Club. Präsentiert von einem hochauflösenden Transfer des Original-Masterbandes. Die zweite Aufnahme aus der Olympiahalle in München ist die erste Live-Stereoaufnahme von Zappa, die direkt digitalisiert wurde. Mastering durch Bernie Grundman, 2022. Fotografie und Memoiren von George Alper, mit Linernotes von Arthur Barrow, Steve Vai, Vaultmeister Joe Travers.
