New LIVE record from 70:ies cult band Kaipa Da Capo
Kaipa were a well know and very prolific touring band in Sweden between 1974-1980. They recorded 3 highly successful albums for the DECCA label and one for Polar Music (ABBA‘s label) Three of the original members Ingemar Bergman,Tomas Eriksson & Roine Stolt have now (2015) teamed up with Michael Stolt - Vocal & guitar and Max Lorentz - Keyboards to form Kaipa Da Capo. This band released the critically acclaimed brand new studio album "Dårskapens Monotoni" in fall of 2016.
Kaipa Da Capo are now about to release the first real LIVE album in the bands history - recorded at the leg end of a Europan tour February 2017.
For the tour, keyboards man Lalle Larsson is standing in for Max Lorentz who was attacked and injured severely at a show earlier this year. This show is from February 25th in Stockholm - and also happens to be the birthday of singer Michael Stolt. The setlist is of course a number of old 70ies classics plus a few tracks from new studioalbum and enhanced with a few improvisations from keyboarder Larsson. Recorded by Micha Weber and mixed by Roine Stolt.
