Es ist so weit! Der GRAMMY-nominierte Southern Rock-Gitarrist und Songwriter aus South Carolina Marcus King meldet sich mit seinem brandneuen Album „Young Blood“ zurück. In seinem aktuellen Werk huldigt er dem selbsternannten „swaggering rock“ und sprengt damit die Grenzen zwischen Country, Blues und Soul. Zusammen mit seinem langjährigen Freund und Produzenten Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) entstanden elf atemberaubende, arenataugliche Rocksongs: „Dan and I wanted to create a big arena rock sound we don’t really hear a lot now!”. Seinem rauen Rocker-Image bleibt Markus ebenfalls treu: „We wanted them to be tough, so there aren’t many ballads.”
