Everyone Gets Bloody

Freak Kitchen sind mit ihrem zehnten Album Everyone Gets Bloody zurück. 11 intensive Songs, die sich mit Themen wie Polarisierung, Psychotherapie, dem Tod eines Einflusses, Experten, kleinen rebellischen Handlungen im Alltag, Schwerkraft und Trauer beschäftigen. Ein schweres Album mit acht- und neunsaitigen Gitarren, stampfenden Drums und tief gestimmten Bässen, aber immer mit dem Fokus auf Melodie und Songwriting.
Das Album erscheint am 24. Mai. Produziert und aufgenommen wurde es vom Sänger und Gitarristen der Band, Mattias IA Eklundh, abgemischt von IA und Jakob Herrmann in den Top Floor Studios in Göteborg.
Freak Kitchen ist eine vielbeachtete Band auf den Bühnen der Welt, ein Trio mit einer bodenständigen Einstellung, aber immer mit viel Entschlossenheit und einem Augenzwinkern. Immer roh. Immer 100% live.
Auf Everyone Gets Bloody folgen 2024-2025 Konzerte auf der ganzen Welt, auf die sich die Band freut, die in den letzten Jahren bewusst jede Form von Live-Streaming vermieden hat. Bei einem Freak Kitchen-Konzert geht es immer um Interaktion mit dem Publikum, Spontaneität und Improvisation im Moment.

Freak Kitchen is back with their tenth album, titled Everyone Gets Bloody. 11 intense songs that cover
subjects ranging from polarization, psychotherapy, the death of an influencer, experts, to small rebellious acts in everyday life, gravity, and grief. A heavy album with eight and nine-stringed guitars, pounding drums, and low-tuned bass but always with melody and songwriting in focus.
The album will be released on May 24th on vinyl, CD, streaming, and download. Produced and recorded by the band’s singer and guitarist Mattias IA Eklundh, mixed by IA and Jakob Herrmann at Top Floor Studios in Gothenburg.
Freak Kitchen is a highly regarded band on stage around the world, a trio with a down-to-earth attitude
but always with a lot of determination and a twinkle in their eyes. Always raw. Always 100% live.
Everyone Gets Bloody will be followed by concerts around the world during 2024-2025, something the band has been eagerly anticipating as they have consciously avoided all forms of live streaming
performances in the past years. A Freak Kitchen concert is always about interaction with the audience, spontaneity, and improvisation in the moment.
Four videos for the first four songs on the album will be filmed in March, with more to come.
