Battle Scars + 1 2024 CD Reissue

Nach einer längeren Zeit der Nichtverfügbarkeit wurde unser Battle Scars-Album von 2012 neu aufgelegt. Diese Version enthält einen zusätzlichen Bonustrack "Seize the Day (Alternative Single Version)", der nun ein fabelhaftes Gitarrensolo von Lee Abraham im Auslauf enthält. Dies ist auch das erste Mal, dass diese Version von ‘Seize the Day‘ in einem physischen Format erhältlich ist. Battle Scars ist das 7. Studioalbum der etablierten englischen Rock/Progressive-Band Galahad.
Aufgenommen, produziert und gemischt von Karl Groom (Threshold) in den Thin Ice Studios. Battle Scars", das siebte Studioalbum von Galahad, zeigt die Entwicklung der Band seit ihrem gut aufgenommenen und von der Kritik gefeierten Album "Empires Never Last" von 2007. Battle Scars" ist Galahad-Musik für das 21. Jahrhundert: sehr zukunftsorientiert, aber auch mit gelegentlichen und liebevollen Anspielungen auf die analoge Vergangenheit. In Anerkennung der mehr als 25-jährigen Geschichte der Band ist eine neue Aufnahme ihres Klassikers Sleepers als Bonustrack auf der CD enthalten.

After a prolonged period of unavailability, our 2012 Battle Scars album has been re-issued. This version contains an extra bonus track ‘Seize the Day (Alternative single version) which now features a fabulous guitar solo by Lee Abraham on the run out. This is also the first time that this version of ‘Seize the Day‘ has been available in a physical format. Battle Scars is the 7th studio album from established English rock/progressive band Galahad.
Recorded, engineered and mixed by Karl Groom (Threshold) at Thin Ice studios. ‘Battle Scars’, Galahad’s seventh studio album, shows the band evolving from their well received and critically acclaimed 2007 album ‘Empires Never Last’. ‘Battle Scars’ is Galahad music for the 21st century: very much looking forward but also showing occasional and affectionate nods to the analogue past. In recognition of the band’s 25 year plus history, a new recording of their classic song Sleepers is included as a bonus track on the CD.
