DALLA VOLTA it’s a collection of brand new songs, re worked songs done with piano and vocals, a cover song and demos and re worked tracks from our early albums An absolute collectors dream .

TERAMAZE behalten den kurzen Abstand zwischen ihren Veröffentlichungen bei und schüren weiter das Feuer. Nachdem sie innerhalb eines Jahres drei Studioalben produziert hatten, schoben sie bekanntlich zwölf Monate später ein weiteres hinterher. Unterdessen sind nur sechs Monate vergangen und die Australier beglücken ihre Anhängerschaft abermals mit einer brandneuen Songsammlung.
In dieser, ´Dalla Volta´ genannten, machen sie die 2017er Original-Demo-Versionen von vier Liedern ihres 2019er Werkes ´Are We Soldiers´ zugänglich, bei denen noch Nathan Peachey die Lieder eingesungen hatte. Somit kommt der gierenden Anhängerschaft dieser kurze Abschnitt der Geschichte von TERAMAZE erstmals zu Ohren.
Obendrein werden aber auch noch weitere Spezialitäten aufgeboten. Der alte ´Tears To Dust´-Klassiker ´Shadows´ wurde sogar unter der Mithilfe von ihrem alten Schlagzeuger Antonio Paulo in die musikalische Gegenwart der Gruppe transferiert.
Neben tränenreichen Klavierversionen von ´Waves´ und ´Broken´ findet nun auch ihre unlängst per Musikvideo vorgestellte Coverversion von ´Easy Lover´, dem 1984er Smash-Hit von Phil Collins und Phillip Bailey, ihren Platz auf einem Album.
Um gleichsam den Durst der Anhängerschaft auf frisches Songmaterial zu stillen, haben TERAMAZE noch vier neue Lieder dazugepackt. Die erste Komposition ´Navigate In Solitude´ ist eine moderne, massive und wundervolle Prog Metal-Nummer mit emotionalem Gesang von Neu- und Wieder-TERAMAZE-Sänger Nathan Peachey, der hier auch mal kurzzeitig durch Screams von Gaststar Erick Wight Unterstützung erfährt. Diese moderne Kraft und Härte wird in ´Chaos In The Way´ sogar melodischer und direkter umgesetzt. Die Melodie von ´These Crystal Walls´ lassen sie dann sogar im knackigen Rhythmus richtig schweben und bei ´The Heist´ in Sachen Geschwindigkeit und feiner Elektronik alle Hemmungen fallen.
Somit wird ´Dalla Volta´ aufgrund solch starker Neukompositionen sowie den Liedern des 2017er Original-Demos für Anhänger von TERAMAZE zur Pflichtveranstaltung.

We stretch our prog muscle in this new, uplifting small epic, taking along with us Erick Wight to bring the heavy screams to cut through soaring vocals, and mesmerising guitar solos. Hold on tight for this one!

Chaos in the Way
With our first release from ‘Dalla Volta‘ we re-welcome Nathan Peachey back into the Teramaze fold in this emotional yet catchy metal track. Melodic and hard hitting, we set the scene for what to expect for our retrospective album experience.

These Crystal Walls
Nathan Peachey turns up the heat when we decide to swing big with this new powerhouse second single. Opening dark and low and soaring to the sky into a massive chorus, get ready to nod your head as we hook you in for the kill.

The Heist
We dare to push you to think outside the box with this fast paced, riff driven banger. Firey lyrics belted out at cracking speed, we bust out all the tricks and bring you a real deal, no holds barred single.

Shadows II
We blow the cobwebs off an old classic from the original Teramaze outfit to give it a new life!
Previous drummer Antonio Paulo returns to help us reimagine our once most popular single to suit our more modern sound. With it‘s new look, same great taste, it will put a smile on any fans face.

Easy Lover
We take a break from our serious selves to give you a fun loving, exciting cover of this 80s classic from the minds of Phil Collins and Phillip Bailey.
Staying true to the structure, we beefed up the guilty pleasure single with heavier guitars and a face melting solo. It will get a hold on you.

Broken (Piano Version)
We reached out and asked Dave Holley to help us make the saddest possible rendition of Broken he could fathom, he didn‘t disappoint.
A piano ballad that could sink the titanic, Nathan brings us back to ‘Her Halo‘ with a grieving vocal performance that will bring anyone to tears.

Waves (Piano Version)
Dave Holley steps into the frame to remind us just how good he truly is.
A keys only retelling of this beautiful ballad from ‘And The Beauty They Perceive‘ we hear Dean woefully cast us into the depths of loneliness with his powerful voice, and heart breaking emotion.
